Toecutter Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Don't love it but still worth a look! http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?p=147863#post147863 Quote
Natez Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 to each there own... but IMO, hood scoop, mashed front airdam, headlight covers, and color coded everything is not right in my books, doesn't look right, but the rims are HETICK Quote
Toecutter Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Prolly some Japanese wheels, I could'nt say, sorry. Quote
zedevan Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 look on yahoo japan, there are heaps of them from people and with their sprinters, which i reakon they suit better as they are kinda 80's style. impul and ssr make some nice ones but there's heaps that look pretty much the same...sorry i dont have a link atm Quote
zr240 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 those rims look a bit like simmons three piece? Ash Quote
Zeddophile Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 hmm - yes. If they are fitted to sprinters, (and i think you're right, I have seen them quite often), check http://forums.toymods.org.au/ to find a set. Problem is, you will be lucky to find them as big as you want over here, I think. And yes, simmons do have a similar wheel... V5? B45? One of those two i think. Quote
mikedoeslife Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Not really a fan of the wheels, I prefer a spoke arrangement usually. They tend to look better while rolling. As you guys said though, each to their own! I think the scoop could grow on me, but I'm not sure it's something I'd do myself unless it was an absolute functional necessity.. Quote

One of those two i think.[/quote'] It looks a little similar to V5 but there are some majot differences in the spoke designs and its completely different from B45 as those are the 5-spoke model. I also checked the current wgeel selection by simmons and none of them are identical to the ones on the car Any other ideas? Quote
Azon Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Found the model. Apparently they are Enkei 92. Quote
