Cozza Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Congrats John, looks nice in those pics. Im thinking the transporters could have taken a couple more days cause it seems you didn't get to finish the walls and roof to that shed Good luck with the progress and the Mrs Welcome aboard Mick Quote

Impatient1 Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Cheers guys, I'll hopefully start a build thread over the weekend. Im thinking the transporters could have taken a couple more days cause it seems you didn't get to finish the walls and roof to that shed Good luck with the progress and the Mrs Yes, the roof did go on in the afternoon. I saw a few dark clouds rolling in and quickly put the cover up. The Mrs has calm down, so all is well. She will laugh about it in a few years time . Her family found it hysterical, which helps. You must feel relieved that she has arrived safely.Time to make that to-do list and get started on project. I was, they initially wanted to deem it not roadworthy because the previous owner hadn't secured the battery. Luckily he fixed it up and it got pick up, otherwise it would have been an extra $600. It was a stressful experience, mainly because of the distance. Positive point was that the transport guy that called on Monday said "Hi, I've got a beautiful 260z for delivery". That is a good way to start the day. To-do list so far it to do the basics, oil change, check/change the leads & spark plugs, filters, do radiator flush, further checks under the car and finally do a compression test - that's the big one. Draining the tank is also on the list but that will do for the weekend. I am still blissfully unaware at this stage, and excited about its potential. Quote
