Looks like the guy was only using half throttle due the the way he setup his linkages. I don't think this is a good example to use for overstated power figures.

 

 

The 3.5L Les Colins engine is going to be the indicator that has been tested on both sides of the pacific...

it would be good to see that engine strapped to the Rebello dyno. I want to see that thing kick their asses to kingdom come!

Somehow on the flight over there, itpicked up another 70-80 odd horsepower, with nothing changed.

Just confirmed what we all know.

Check out posts #5, 7 and 9 particularly in that link in the OP, Yanks are aware of the variations between their dynos but not, apparently, the extent of the blatant over optimistic claims.
