ilbert Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Hi Gentlemen, I am planning to replace triple 45mm webers with ITB fuel injection on my L28 (stock with 72 cam) We are thinking to use 40 or 42mm throttle bodies as I a want the car as a daily driver. What I'd like to know is if anyone can make a recommendation as to a good inlet manifold to use? (The current lynx triple weber manifold will be sold with the carbs and linkages as a working package). Any opinions or experiences? - I have heard that the American cannon manifold is not that great, although looks like good value. Can anyone comment on the EFI Hardware manifold? Cheers. Quote
d3c0y Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I use a Kameari one, nice long runners, available in different diameters too. Quote
ZED83 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Ive got the kameari manifold its supplied through EFI HARDWARE also bought 50/48/45 tapered throttle bodys from them . Talk to Steve newing he'll look after you. Quote
d3c0y Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Why not just buy it direct from Kameari? EFI Hardware have always been prohibitively expensive for me. Quote
ilbert Posted November 12, 2014 Author Posted November 12, 2014 Thanks for the feedback, looks like kam. is the go. There will be more questions to follow no doubt. Cheers. Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted November 12, 2014 Moderators Posted November 12, 2014 I'm running a Redline available through Autobarn... around $300ish (many years ago though!) works well for me. Quote
Retro Z Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Im using a TWM manifold from Peirce manifolds and happy with the quality and look. Its also shorter than most other brands Quote
silvaghost23 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 There is one other that needs to be considered and for the US$1999 including manifold and ITB's, seems good value. In all Billet Alloy, if mine wasn't already injected, they'd be getting my hard earned... May still do. Hehe Extrudabody http://www.extrudabody.com/servlet/the-257/Kit-cln--Datsun-L6-for/Detail Just add on your tapered Velocity Stacks. Quote
d3c0y Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 FWIW the TWM manifold i have seen is too low and doesn't let you run big headers under it. Quote
Cozza Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I've got a spare TWM manifold from Pierce, never been used if you're interested http://www.piercemanifolds.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=99003.829 Quote
ilbert Posted November 12, 2014 Author Posted November 12, 2014 Thanks Guys, really helpful responses. I am interested in the pierce second handy - i'll PM Cozza. I have headers on the car, i'll see if I can get a measurement for reference D3COY, ta. I did see the extradubody set-up, can get free shipping from USA too - well worth considering. As with a lot of this sort of thing, many options to chose from makes a decision sometimes a little difficult, but all first world problems cheers muchly Quote
