JonnoDe Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 The roller 260z I bought didn't come with seats.... A lot of the topics on here about seats people suggest re-doing the originals. That's hard when you have none. So basically what aftermarket seats are the 2+2 owners here using, as I would like access to my rear seats. Or if people are using seats from other cars, I have read a bit about mx5 seats and rx7 ones. I'm fairly confident in my bracket making abilities so if the seats fit width and height wise, I can make them fit in my Z. Quote
EVIL_denver Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Mx5 seats are probably the easiest to find and a good price, come in a range of colours and look good. Both mx5 na and nb seats will fit a Z. Quote
Triptych Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I saw a guy who sold a 2+2 awhile back was also selling a set of RX8 seats but was unsure if it was his plan to put it in the zed or not (same sale ad). Normally some seats pop up every now and then or post a wanted on the forums as I have had plenty of luck with forum members helping me out with parts. Quote
Retro Z Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Me and member Vramjee91 done the rx8 seats. Abit big but fits and worked. We have both switched to fd rx7 seats now as it sits lower and it more compact. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted September 27, 2014 Moderators Posted September 27, 2014 That type of seat has been done before Quote
JonnoDe Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Be a cheap seats until the police see them Quote
EVIL_denver Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 mr2 spider seats look good aswell. Being from a small cabin car, should fit well into a z. Quote
JonnoDe Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Mr2 seats look good. Has anyone else tried fitting them? I might be the first then, just have to find some Quote
