I like seeing budget builds like this, showing what can be done for not a huge outlay of cash.

Budget? I see we're using that term loosely.

I spent less on my entire EFI system than he did on just the carb. It also fits completely under the hood. ;)

With the cost effective EFI systems that are available, I just don't understand why people continue to give up the greater tuning ability that EFI offers to go with an overpriced fuel leak that is called a carb.

The guy also doesn't really have any idea what does what. Especially when it comes to the BOV, and why it's a benefit.

I went carbies for the sound of triples. I think it is hard to give up and people are willing to work a bit harder to keep it. Actually, I have never heard a blow or draw through carbie setup. Do you still get that lusty induction noise or is it masked by airboxes and whatnot?

No you dont because everything is enclosed with the intake plenum and turbos are blowing into the carbs. What you are hearing is the engine sucking the air in usually, which just has a couple of straight pipes off the side of the combustion chamber.

I'd be curious to find out actual power figures; probably only getting around 3-4 pounds of boost? Why bother?
