mikedoeslife Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Well! We finally managed to organise a time that was suitable for all of us (Sulio, myself, and my budding amateur photographer girlfriend) to snap some shots of Sulio's Z for the December feature car at grandJDM, and lo and behold; it rained. You just can't write that kind of ironic tragedy! Nevertheless, the rain eventually buggered off, and while the sky remained more or less overcast, we did manage to get some good shots in. So, here's three of them. The rest will be available at grandJDM.com in December, so stay tuned! And of course, November's feature car is a sexy C10 GT-R replica, so be sure to check that out in the next few days too </shameless plug> Enjoy! Quote
Toecutter Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Thanks Van. Hey they came up really good! Ah I'll have to stick em in my gallery get something fresh to come up on the front page. Too many photos of my car round here, people prolly sick of seeing it! :-\ Sulio Quote
FuzzyDropbear Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Wow, they're some incredible pictures! I love those rims Quote
modular9 Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Van : I love the slight bleached out look you got almost like a hdri. I hope/assume there are larger versions kicking about for desktop duty ? Sulio : I love your car. 'tis your fault I have a zed anyway. Quote
mikedoeslife Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 Yeah, the high saturation and contrast is just me playing around in Photoshop. The original RAW files are much more traditional, hehe. And yep, very big files, and wallpapers will be available along with the feature! Quote
George Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 top work van. slightly heavy on the contrast can't blame you though, we all get a little slider happy with the contrast at times can't wait to see the rest. Quote
mikedoeslife Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 Haha yeah, I'm addicted to high contrast/saturation/shadows in automotive photos! I'm aware it's not kosher as far as "professionalism" goes, but for my own tastes, I dig it big time Quote
