74zzz Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 hey all Was talking to my brother last night about doing a wilwood upgrade however he has said that wilwood don't have ADR approval and therefore will not pass? can anyone confirm this? as its a road car also, any potential accident could be a huge insurance issue if he is correct.... cheers! benny Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 there is lots of this already here on the forum. they arent adr compliant because they dont have dust seals... you may get en engineer to pass them if your lucky. I know wilwood do have a few options with seals now... would just have to see if they worked with your kit (bolt spacing, offset etc) Quote

NZeder Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Recently sold a set of Radial Mounted Wilwoods that had dust seal and given they were radial mounted they were easier to fit. So there are options, they just cost a little more than stock wilwoods. Quote

I have brought this topic up recently with race brakes and also mentioned the flex from a willwood caliper is measured in mm not thou like most good calipers. Quote
