who can help rebuilt lsd on my 240z

long story cut short, supposed to be an expert in zeds totally stuffed an LSD conversion.

i need someone to rebuilt the clutch pack LSD. it has massive play on it, not kidding the bolts on the drive shafts was hand tight!!!! i was lucky to actually go over the whole car's fastener.

 

preferably in Victoria

The clutch pack centre is most likely untouched and will be fine.

By sounds of it the bad shop ( name??) has just thrown the centre into a housing, hopefully the CW and the Pinion gears are matched, and not bothered to shim out the backlash, to get the " free play" out of it.

 

Nuts/bolts loose? Surprising enuf, many workshops do overlook, and forget to do final spanner check on everything they touch.

 

What was the clutchpack centre out of?

Pity your on the wrong side of the water Freddie would have been happy to rebuild it for u just did mine car is launching so much better with a tight lsd
