Administrators gav240z Posted September 30, 2007 Administrators Posted September 30, 2007 Hi everyone, Sorry about the downtime, it appears the site has been busier and busier each month. As a result our old bandwidth cap did not do the job. Before I left for Ireland I set it to 10gig but it seems we managed to exceed that so I have set it to 25 gig now. We shouldn't have anymore problems. This was not a web host fault rather a setting that I can modify. I am looking for a new laptop computer so that I can get online here, in an Internet cafe for the moment. Hope everyone is doing well. Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted September 30, 2007 Author Administrators Posted September 30, 2007 Get back to your holiday Gav Anyone else an admin that can look after this for you? Yeah holiday is good but I am having withdrawals from a normal routine such as work and daily gym visits. I might go to New York or Amsterdam for a few days . I'd give Sulio access but he's not really too literate on how all the web hosting in and out's work so he'll probably just bring the site down LOL. (sorry Sulio couldn't resist). It's really more of a web hosting management issue rather than an actual site issue. Other than the bandwidth issue it appears the site was running fine without me for a few days. Quote
Toecutter Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Hi mate, all good! Yer leave the technical stuff to Gav. My abilities don't go far from just changing text! Sulio Quote
yellazed Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Thanks, Gav..... I'm sure all members are very grateful to have access again - I, for one, was missing my daily Z 'fix'. Enjoy the rest of your holiday! Cheers, Wal F Quote
