AussieZed Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hi all, It breaks my heart to do this, but.... I am looking to swap my 240z project for a 260z 2+2 runner. Reason? With our new baby I need a project that needs less work and a back seat for our little guy so the whole family can use the car. 240Z PROJECT TO SWAP I have a 240z (1972) with matching numbers. It is a project and needs rust repairs to the firewall and chassis rails, and the radiator support/front clip needs replacing (in my opinion). All replacement panels and replacement front clip provided. The shell is in primer, the interior and engine bay have been painted 'Storm glow metallic'. All parts are present including glass, interior parts etc. 260z vented bonnet. New carpets. US taillights. There may be some small parts missing, but I am unaware of them. 5sp 280zx geabox. 200B restored rims (although jelly beans on the car). The engine has been fully rebuilt but not yet started, and is not in the car. This is a PROJECT needing resto - it doesn't run. Good sound base. It is currently in Canberra. More pics on request. 260Zs I would be interested in ... 2+2 manual or auto (prefer manual) Running No MAJOR rust or panel work needed Paint serviceable Interior serviceable Obviously a road-worthy car would be desirable but we can talk. Would prefer a Vic/ACT/NSW car to make all the transferring stuff easier. Depressed!! to be seeing my dream car go, but it's sad reality time. PM me for more details. Ross Quote
