240/260 Z hybrid

can 240Z tail lights and body parts (mainly the tail lights) be used on a 240Z to make a 260 look like a 240???

Thats exactly what i want to do but with black Watanabe's with a chrome lip and in a deep blue and a really nice twin turbo l28!

i dont care what bad things it makes me do as long as it doesn't make me slide into signs ::)and i am the devil i just need a Z to make it official.

 

that is why i really want a 240z thats not restored, close to original or modified because it would just get rebuilt.

i was thinking about this recently aswell... what exactly did you cut and weld toecutter? I was thinking about cutting the whole panel (the piece behind the black plastic) and welding that into the 260z. Is it a bit more involved or is that about it?

relatively simple. You just need to cut a little off the inner section and weld plates in where the reverse lights go. Lurch is a pro at mig welding so he was kind enough to come over and weld in the plates for me. I did take some photo's just not with me atm. I'll try and find them when I get back to Melbourne later this week.
