Hi everyone,

I'm chasing a couple of electrical gremlins in my car where the main issue appears to be in the wiring. It looks like someone has had a go at chopping and changing the dash loom a few times and it's a bit of a mess. I already have a wiring diagram to suit RHD 260Z (see below) that I am going off but it seems like everything is different to what I have. So does anyone have an FSM or wiring diagram they KNOW is for a 1975 260Z that I can borrow/buy? At least that way I can be certain that what I have is correct.

Thanks

Should be able to upload the full wiring diagram from my factory service manual shortly. Hopefully the battery for the camera stays alive long enough.

Cheers mate, I look forward to seeing it!

Have you looked on xenons30.com under reference? The 1975 280Z FSM should be very close to your 260Z.

While i have all the LHD FSMs already, they all contain several north America only additions which I am not interested in and have different colour trace wires, which isn't helpful in the slightest.

Just having some fun trying to line it all up as its 5 photos currently. Will try to retake pictures tomorrow with less photos so I can line it up easier.

That's how it is with the North American cars too. The wiring diagrams are less than accurate. no matter where the car is located.

Haynes manual has always been my go to and generally have the right wire colours. I guess it depends what you are looking at.
