Brisbane Carb Specialists/ Tuning

Hi guys,

 

I have decided to get my round top S.U's professionally looked at, before pulling all my hair out. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with any good companies or would recommend someone who would be able to rebuild(if needed) and tune my HS4's. I just want it to drive well and use the car for weekend driving.

 

I live on the south side and the car isn't registered, so i will need to tow and preferably would like to keep it as close as possible. But willing to travel.

SU's aren't hard to tune if you have a good ear and a piece of tube. I could try if you want.

I have researched this as I am going triple carbs.  I have heard good things about CnJ Motorsport at underwood who's website is http://www.cnjmotorsport.com.au

 

My dad told me about Adapatune on Randell street (off Moss Street, Slacks Creek) as well which he informed he use to send all there carbs to when he worked at Jeep.

Thanks guys, i think it might be to do with the set up Peter I purchased a pair of carbs which looked to be half decent but have struggled to get them to idle below 3000rpm. I did contact CNJ a while ago by email and didn't get a response. but those two are local so i will give them a go if all else fails.

Try Greg Tunstall Mechanical he is very good with genuine english SU's and the Hitachi copies ie the ones with the external float bowls, http://www.gregtunstallmechanical.com.au he is a Cleveland
