d3c0y Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hey Guys, Just looking to see if there is an expression of interest on buying some stuff from Techno Toy Tuning so i can try and get us some discounted prices. https://technotoytuning.com/nissan/240z I'm looking at buying F&R lower control arms and some camber plates. Let me know what you are interested in and ill hit up the owner and see what he can do for us! Quote
potter260 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I only just purchased those and installed them a couple of weeks ago. They look nice and solid compared to the standard ones. Quote
Retro Z Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Id probably be interested in Front & Rear strut braces and Bump steer spacers for 240z Quote
Riceburner Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hey Jake, nice of you to organise this. What sort of time frame are you thinking until you place orders? I'd be looking at the delrin steering rack bushes to suit a 240Z. Thanks. Quote
dat240z Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I would be interested in the Steering Rack Bushes, Moustache Bar kit, Lower Rear + Front Control Arms and Tension Control Rods - all for 240z. Quote
zr240 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hopefully you have better luck than I did. I contacted them at the start of the year as I wanted to stock there stuff in my shop and they would not budge on prices for quantity purchases. Products are great though Ash Quote
d3c0y Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 I've mentioned it before in an email to him and I can't exactly remember his answer but i thought it was positive from memory. I'm keen to place an order as soon as we have enough quantities to make it work, obviously those numbers are up to TTT. Dat240Z - Rack Bushes, Moustache Bar kit, Lower Rear + Front Control Arms and Tension Control Rod Gareth J - Rack bushes Retro Z - Front & Rear strut braces and Bump steer spacers for 240z D3c0y - Front & Rear Lower Arms, Front Camber Tops BlueRat - Front & Rear Lower Arms Quote
d3c0y Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 OK so combined shipping is the best they will do which is a bit disappointing, but i guess there stuff is already pretty cheap. We do not do group buys we can definitely work with you to combine the shipping where possible. Some items, such as the rear lower control arms, can not be combined due to size/weight. Gia & Gabriel Tyler www.TechnoToyTuning.com Since everyone pretty much wants big items this idea is a bit dead in the water. Gareth I don't mind putting your rack bushes in with my order if you want. Sorry guys. Quote
Riceburner Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Hmmm that's a shame, Their items are a little cheaper than other brands. There's also the import tax on items over 1k too, so what you saved may have been taken by tax. I'm happy either way Jake, as long as it doesn't put your items over. Might be a case of everyman for himself! Hehe. Quote
dat240z Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Im not sure how the $1000 tax rule works, but ive spend on a few occasions a few grand plus (orders with mckinney motorsports/arizona z car/msa/sparco seats) and have never been made to pay any sort of import tax.... Is it maybe goods that pass through customs/quarantine checks? Quote
d3c0y Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 Depends on the value they put on the invoice for you. Quote
nat0_240_chevZ Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 maybe make locally & save on shipping..... just a suggestion. Quote
d3c0y Posted May 3, 2013 Author Posted May 3, 2013 That really isn't a bad idea. Doesn't look like you need a rocket scientist to make them, although that does sound like a lot more effort. Quote
