Has anyone seen stone guard used on the sils, lower front fenders and lower parts of the doors on a 240?

I think it would look pretty good even though they didn't come like that.

Painting my car next week and the sils need a bit of work to look pretty

Thoughts?

I used it on my car in exactly these places and also to make some rough spots look better. I don't think you can see it until you get within a few meters of the car, I'd say go for it!

In the pic attached I taped on the middle of the fold/line below the badge and put stone guard below that. It'll cover the bottom two inches of the door also.

Sweet, I think it'll look good. I do like it when the paint is flawless all the way to the sil but I've run out of steam with the bodywork :P

Not sure if I'll use 3M or wurth, I'll update my build thread once it's painted
