Ive been buying bits for my zeds all over the globe,

UK, USA, Canada, Japan and Australia.

Had 100s of dealings and purchases.

Now luckily 99% of them were pleasant and easy.

UK

no problems great sellers via ebay.

USA

datsunation, scootz nissanofcheasapeake are outstanding. They are my regular sellers. Quick non inflated postage and items are great. If they don't have it listed they find it and list it. Nissanofcheasapeake is actualy nissan dealership, ive been buying parts for my s14 and s15 from them as the price is 3 times less than local with postage.

Some other US sellers that have lota of goodies just plain refuse to even reply. They just refuse to deal with International buyers. So dont bother. If they dont have worldwide dont waste ur time.

Canada

This one is interesting. I tell u the details.

Won a small item and postage was $25 bit exesive for an item that can be posted in envelope.

Initialy seller was nice but than tried canceling transaction when i questioned the postage cost. To make it worth while i asked for other bits i need to make the postage worth while.

Anyway i gave a list got a reply what he had and prices. Chose most of the parts got an invoice of $400.

Not sure what it was for, but assumed  all the bits i agreed to. I questioned but never got a reply. Made a mistake paid for it. The other day got a small box 3 engine bay labels a gearknob heater and fan knobs and map light bezel i won at the auction for $32. Postage cost him 10.50 plus the small box.

Charged me $40

Now be very weary buying stuff from zedsaver. Get everything black and white don't assume. Or just dont bother heaps of other sellers from USA.

Australia

Everyone has been good. From resident sellers like zedman240,lurch,mossy,chassis254, and other regulars have been outstanding.

SA wreckyards.

Adelaide z cars, just nissmazz, dry creek auto wreckers, japco and u pull it for SA. Not many parts for early z but have occassional 280zx or 300zx we raid for parts.

Japan,

Via Jesse Streeter. Now Jesse is a absolute legend. No other words. Looks after his customers and tries to get the best outcome for them.

Sellers from yahoo, asanuro_hasagawa, happy_pizza, have some good stuff at reasonable price.

Some items are extraordinary exy. Like $600 or buy now $1200 for a pair of "fairlady260z" badges

Dash at 1.9k+, hako 14x10 racing wheels at 7k and 432 magnesium

Wheels at 9k. This is still add postage within japan and to aus plus comission.

Just few hints and tips and traps to avoid if you never ventured outside of your local parts hotspots.

Good sellers ive dealt with on Ebay usa.

Datsun-parts. Fast on postage, and has basically everything datsun.

Datsunsocal (datsunsocal.com) Cheap postage. Good for weather stripping $350 delivered and even threw in a heap of Datsun mouse pads, t-shirts and keyrings.

Sparktech motorsports- Very cheap. Has every tokico or kyb part. Ground control suspension. And others. But abit pricey on postage. Also a comprehensive website with paypal.

Hasegawa in reference to your ebay seller are actually a second hand parts/wrecker chain in Japan.

reddat on eBay is also a great seller. I bought a radio off him which broke in transit. He refunded me the full value (including freight) straight away no questions asked.

Perhaps we could make a sticky post of recommended eBay / yahoo auction sellers for S30Z parts? I hate it when you get flogged for postage personally so we should definitely recommend sellers who go above and beyond. They deserve repeat business.

I wish there were more Z suppliers in the UK, i used to get a lot of parts from the UK from several suppliers (non-datsun), shipping cost very little and parts would arrive in 3-4 days, often faster than local suppliers.

The US on the other hand, shipping seems to take forever and the shipping prices are often over the top but what can you do, that's where the market is.

I've had good dealings with Datsun Parts LLC.

I ordered some bushings from MSA about 6 weeks ago and they still haven't turned up....
