Gday guys and gals

Recently I rebuilt a l28e from the ground up everything was new (bar the manifolds and efi gear) and have had to leave it for a few months due to work. Finally getting back to it I got it in and all ready to go..... Nothing!... it wouldnt start originally and I figured out it was a timing issue, moved the spindle a few teeth advanced and he presto it started. Ran for about 30 seconds and then died. So I have gone and Troubleshooted to the best of my ability, and now it runs but it sounds to my like its 8cyling Sorta like a carby thats being drowned. So i replaced The following items to resolve any issues.

New AFM

New Dizzy (inc cap, and rotor)

New Injectors,

New FPR

New Fuel Filter

New TPS

New Coolant temp sensor

New Oil Pressure sender

New Efi piping,

New Fuel Pump

New Plugs

New Leads

And still not running, I had a mate who is a mechanic come out and look at it, he had it running almost perfect within 20 mins, Next day started it up let it get to temp and still running like balls.

Im at the point where I have a single mikuni setup from my brother in laws c210 Skyline (as he pinched my spare intake manifold and exhaust manifold) and im going to bolt it on and try that... BUT that is a hell of a lot of work. I do have a new set of bosch plugs for the injectors (with clips) and have not wanted to put them on just as yet as I am sick of throwing money at this thing.

Any help or knowledge would be appreciated.

Cheers

try another set of plugs if they were fuel soaked you probably wont get them back, make sure you wind the motor over without them in, to clear excessive fuel

So upon further investigation today it seems like I'm not getting a signal to injector number 5. I have started tracing my wires to look for any splits bit as usual as I got close to the end it bucketed down on me. I will update when I have run new wires to the injector and fired it up. Thanks for all the help on this guys.
