HS30-H Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 What's that rim doing on (what I presume is) a Hakosuka sedan It's a PGC10, and there's nothing wrong with them being on the car ( especially considering the personal history of the person who put them on that car.... ). Thats $2,600 landed right now. Can you tell us exactly how involved you are with design / commissioning / manufacturing / testing / marketing these wheels? There are lots of people out there who are attaching their names to somebody else's product, and actually have very little - if anything, except perhaps attaching a sticker - to do with them. They also appear to be cribbed directly from an already exisiting design. There's a lot of it about.... The proper manufacture of such wheels is a very costly and highly involved process. To sell at reasonable prices, you have to manufacture in some pretty serious volumes. Is there something online with all the information on the wheels nissan used back in the day? I'd love to see everything they've done so I know what to look for. I'd love to see everything they've done so I know what to look for. Nothing that I know of. Even if there were it would probably get more wrong than right... The obscurities, conflicting data / stories and occasional whiff of something more exciting around the corner ( which quite often turns out to be a steaming turd.... ) is what keep it interesting, in my opinion. Manufactured, tested in Taiwan from a very well known manufacturer of wheels. I do not sell wheels that is not up to international standard. This is a reproduction of Riverge Riverside. Don't fit over big brakes! it depends on what ride u gonna have it into. some love fast and furious and speed all the way then it needs bigger brakes and bigger wheels. some like lowriders and this comes the 14" or the 13" wheels. depends on what's ur preference. They are very light at 7.4 kg, have a max wright rating of 600 kg, are a JJ fitment, ie with bead lock humps. They come extremely well packaged, and in the Satin Black, they look fantastic. The only thing that would stop me from buying, is because they look like real a real Riverge, but they're not. To get wheels made, there are minimum job runs, you are looking at at least a run of 400 pieces, to make it anywhere near worthwhile. How big is your garage, to store the other 396 wheels, and is there a market for the riverge? These Watanabe Tribute R type are about to go into production, sceduled delivery to Australia is mid to late February 2012 Place your orders, as there is limited stock coming here. Riverge is that 4-spoke design posted previously. As with most old japanese rims, sizes go from 6" to potentially a few 10" floating in existance. I get that completely, but there's more than a few ways the design could be subtly changed so that it looks roughly the same, without looking as though it was trying to be an exact fool-everyone replica.
