I just did basically the same thing except i removed the transmission, attached an engine stand and lifted the car on the lift dropping the crossmember with the engine.
Awesome job you did without a car lift
I use Microsoft edge. Latest version. Computer updates regularly. I get them signed in or not. I will check if they come up if I use internet explorer.
The last few days when looking at a thread, there are ads covering the post, not above or to the side but directly on top so you cant read the post. Maybe it's my computer but I'm not getting that on any other sites ?
Anyone else getting this ?
I'm in Canada and when I buy US parts I always request other carriers. UPS which uses FedEx overcharges for brokerage fee's, handling fee's etc.
I always request USPS as there usually isn't any brokerage fee's. Not sure if that's an option for you guys. Its bad enough with our poor exchange rate to the US which is the same as Aus to US.
Yeah, removing the jiggler allows some coolant circulation past the thermostat so it opens normally. This is only necessary if you have deleted the bypass hoses that were hooked up to the bottom of the thermostat housing.
I had this issue. I'm guessing you don't have the bypass lines hooked up from the thermostat housing ? Without the bypass lines hooked up the thermostat doesn't see circulated water until after it has opened which makes its initial opening very slow due to the only heat it sees as conduction.
The fix is either to re-install the bypass hose or remove the jiggle valve so a small amount of water will flow past the thermostat which heats it up properly....and also run an oem thermostat. The jiggle valve stays closed during operation from the pressure in the block, it opens from gravity once the engine is off and pressure lowers.
Very nice Enzo,
You will like it once you get it out. Glad you vented the FCC it into the fuel return line. I finally created a thread on hybridz but didn't seem to be much interest. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/127093-l28-fitech-throttle-body-injection/ My saga getting the port vacuum working properly is in the thread.
What do you have connected to the intake manifold...vacuum distribution block ?
