Hi Guys, 855 was my car here in Port Lincoln, I have sold it overseas to the UK, should be leaving next week. Didn't really want to sell it, but circumstances dictated it had to go, I also have a 76 260z waiting to get on the road, and a sub 300 early girl that needs a resto, so plenty of Zeds to keep me busy !!but more on that later. regards Mark B

I have a car that had been fitted with one of those huge Webasto slide back sunroofs, and whilst I know that it could be repaired correctly ( at the moment there is a big hole in the roof !! ) , but at a fairly large cost so, being the DIY guy that I am, a Carbon fibre roof has some appeal !! I guess they not available here , and it would be to hard to import one !!

Will be interesting to see if these cars appear on Ebay again or get offered for sale somewhere else, the cars were not listed as having a reserve price, so it would appear that buyer 4***2 owns 2 cars !! good going for a buyer with a "0" ebay rating, assuming off course that they were legit bids ? If I was a seller , don't know that I would be happy having $50k worth of bids from a zero rated buyer !!

Saw this on a facebook page, "FRP Automotive" in the UK, anybody had any experience with the company or this product, I could certainly use one, and I reckon there would be plenty of others that could as well !!

Wow, big resto job there !! I looked at the add for this car long and hard, and even tried to buy this car from the seller !! but I just didn't like the "Dutch Auction" way of doing buisness he was trying to do. I think the car has gone to the right person with the contacts that you have for restoration, will be good looking car when finished !!

Hi Guys, First off apologies for not introducing myself sooner, I am a Datsun guy from way back, got my first 1600 sedan back in 1974 , so as you can tell already I am an old fart !! I have been a Datsun guy for a long time,had 1600's, 180b SSS, 180B's , have raced them and rallied them, but dont do that anymore ( getting to old !!) but never owned a Z car, so I figured now is the time to get back in after being out of Datsuns for about 20 years !! Although my sons are in !! owning a 1600SSS coupe, 1600 wagon and R32 GTR dirt circuit race car !! I have been looking for about 3 months, and answered and add here on the classifieds, for the 260 2 seater restoration project, and much to my surprise when I called Ray up for a chat he also had a 240 that he has restored that he was prepared to sell !! So after some dicussion and negotiation I have managed to purchase both cars from him, so in a short space of time I have gone from no Zeds to 2 Zeds !! Anyway, I drove from Port Lincoln to Wagga and return on the weekend ( 3000km's round trip ) to collect the 260 2seater and the 240 will arrive on a truck in the next week or so. I will post some pics soon, but for the members interested in the numbers the 240 is number 00855, is now painted a burgundy/red colour and has an L26 in it .I look forward to being a part of the group and hope to post my journey through the restoration process !! Hi everyone, I bought Rays 2 seater restoration project from him, so whilst I was there I had a look at this car and from the quick look that I had, this is a very good car with Less rust than most !! I could see some bubbles in the sill panels near the dog leg, and some large holes in the rear panels below the rear bumper, but the rest of it looked pretty good. The seat trim looks awfull !! in good condition just a horrible material, so all in all a pretty good car, plus he had another 2 plus 2 parts car at his house which I am sure could be negotiated as well. Sorry I can give a better description, but it was at the end of a 15 hour drive to collect the 2 seater, and facing a 15 hour drive home !! so I didnt really have time to study it fully, but Ray is a great guy to deal with, so if you want a 2+2 this could be the one. Hey Chungy, is the heater working ? looks like taps on the heater hoses in the under bonnet pic ? are they the original seats just been recovered or a different seat altogether? What wheels come with it ? in your pic of the mods you refer to 280zx wheels, but they are not on the car ? Regards Mark B
