does anyone know the correct brand/type/model? i've read a few posting where something was just a bit different - terminals, dimensions, etc to cause a hassle got what i think the correct frame from zcardepot one thing i do know is to get the sealed type - don't want acid leaking on the just replaced battery base!

thats awesome advice, the only problem i've got is that i'd have to pull at knee height and i've just got a garage with no telephone poles so i'd have to insert these rings so i can get the leverage on both sides i've seen the jig guys use a vertical adjustable beam anchored to the floor to position the chain surely its not expensive to rent an hour on a bench ? i'd been into $300 just to buy/rent the portapower and all the fittings i'll post some photos

i've got a slight nudge on my shell, must have taken a slight hit on the front bumper bar. the rails are fins, its just the inner wing is pushed in, say 4cm. i thought of getting one of those portapower jigs and i reckon it would do the job - if i had a way to secure the car. as i understand it, you need to crimp it down on all the jack points to do it correctly Once the car is on rack, i reckon its a 30 min pull job on the bumper bar mounting i got a cheap and good towie ( thanks to this forum), so i'm all set. the shell's a roller

is this the shifter? also looks like i got a 280 rubber, so i'll have to make the opening a little bit bigger at the front and then it will fit is there supposed to be ring on the top of the rubber to keep it down or just some bolts and washers?

it was some guy doing plating for old holdens i got the all vents from zcardepot brand new for $50 US has anyone painted the heater console them and if what paint did they use? do you just do it with a small brush? it looks awfully fiddly the reproductions ones i've seen were all black

or has anyone tried the various spray on chrome finishes?

any updates on this thread? can anyone tell where the hoses go thru the firewall?

in the middle of getting all the boxes back together and was able to resuscitate 3 of them, but not the long one that goes the fan box. its just corroded at one the of the ends inside the plastic sleeve. looking at the construction, i don;t think the pushbike ones will not work because the original have a solid core any ideas anyone?
