Anyone? Here's a pic of the shaft I'm talking about..

Hoping someone can help me here, I've just replaced the rear wheel bearings on my 280zx and now after I've torqued up the stub axle it's jammed and won't turn. When I've got the stub axle on with the nut done up firm but not torqued the thing turns fine, it's only when I torque it? Additional Note: I can't find the spacer that's suppose to go between the two wheel bearings but I don't think this is crucial because both bearings sit up against shoulder and so can't move anyway and I can't see how this would cause the thing to jam?

I know there is probably something easy I'm missing but I can't seem to get the windscreen wiper linkages on my 280zx off. I'm stuck with getting the two shafts that poke through (ones for the wiper arms to connect to) to go back into the channel that runs under the windscreen where all the linkages are. There's what looks like a nut on these shafts and I've tried undoing it but it just seems to spin and not come off. Anyone familiar with how these come apart?

just wondering if anyone on here knows how to identify the various (3 I believe) types of 71C gearboxes? I grabbed a 71c off a bloke for my manual conversion and I am halfway through rebuilding it however to order a rebuild kit I need to know exactly what car it was out of to start as there's some differences internally. Unfortunately the guy couldn't tell me what it was off originally but thinks it was an 89 silvia. Some of the online stores were mentioning the difference being the 2nd and 3rd synchro's being one or two piece? I have no idea what this means though because all synchro's I've ever seen are just a single ring. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :/ I can post pictures if it will help

Cheers fellas I ended up snatching one today from a wreckers off a d21 2.4L nissan navara, which according to exedy is the same flywheel.. used this as a reference in case anyones interested http://www.fcpimport.com/products/nissan-clutch-flywheel-720-d21-pathfinder-280zx-280z-12310-n4256 Measured up to be right so let's hope it works! I got in touch with Pauly but he has the 225mm flywheel. I'm probably mistaken but I was under the impression all 280zx 2+2's had the 240mm flywheel when I posted (so I didn't specify that's what I needed) That's alright mate I do that a bit too haha. All good thanks anyway!

Just chasing the driver and passenger side front pillar plastics if anybody has these that they're willing to part with? Also rear driver side interior trim (panel between rear quarter window and boot) If anyone has either of these could let me know that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah definitely agree with the other boys. Replace that thermostat first >> try chemiweld (even a few bottles) >> then pull your waterpump and check that I think most likely waterpump but other 2 are easier to try first .. also just make sure to keep an eye out for milky looking coolant, sure sign of problems in the head as it leaks oil into the coolant Good luck!
