Good to hear it doesn't then... I'm not planning on doing much else apart from half cage and front/rear strut bars. Just out of interest what sort of response have you been getting from the public and other drivers?

Awesome thread jamo, I've just read the whole thing for the first time due to recently buying a 400hp + R34 setup for my 76 2+2. so your story is absolutely ideal for me I'm getting a half roll cage put in for safety and stiffness. Just wondering if you did anything to strengthen the chassis? I've heard they're a bit wobbly with enough horsepower in under the hood... How's your feel? Cheers, Lars

Due to my 76 fuel lid not fitting my 77 shell, I'm after a 77 fuel lid if anyone has one? I'm on the gold coastguard, but will pay for postage if necessary. Lars

Hi all, this may seem a little wierd, but has anyone else noticed the 2+2 fuel lids don't match in where they sit from a 76 model 2+2 to a 77 model? I'm swapping my 76 model lid over to the 77 model and once I screw the bolts in to place it sits flush top to bottom but sits about 7 mil too far to the right. The only way I can make this fit make up some sort of 7mil custom pad for the plate to sit on. Otherwise sourse another 77 lid. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there, as it states im after a rear seat for my 76 2+2 260Z. Not majorly fussed on the condition as its going to be re trimmed anyhow. Also after both front seat rails. Ideally as close as the gold coast as possible. Call Lars on 0422878114 Thanks

Thanks for the info lads. Im after: Speedo, Tacho, Boost, Oil Pressure and Water. Im still deciding due to the loss of fuel, indicators, brake etc... It's okay, i did mean what you first meant. So basically, sizes wont matter too much, overall it seems fairly flexible due to the ability to shift them back and forth.... Plus a bit of blue tach to hold them in place

So 4 1/2 inches won't cut the mustard? Or is it possible to still make it fit?

115mm is about 4 1/2 inches. Will that be big enough to suit the existing speed hole?

Hey guys, im looking at buying the Race Tech guages from eBay for my 2+2 and just wanted to know whether the cup size is 95mm or 115mm? Id have a look myself but im away for work at the moment.
