  2. Awesome thanks writting all this down so ill know This is probs my biggest project being 19 i havnt really had many As off the wiring hows that go with it all will it be easyer to get a harness for a 280zxt Or get a auto elec to wire it up? Thanks for all the info guys
  3. Also eith going l28et how will i go eith fuel will the stock tank need to be modded And the fuel lines its got a elecric fuel lunp at the moment been reading and all 240z needed modded or efi fuel tanks
  4. I will have a look tomorrow As of the l28 turbo with upgrades My suspension should be fine Im just conserned about brakes if ill need 280zx brakes And disk rear end and front or mine eill be okay as they are
  5. Kinda messed up my diff is a r200!! Haha whats the easyest whay to find out if its lsd or open My with outs opening it up or will i have to open it
  6. Oh okay yea didnt wanna weld the diff So what suby doff centers are changeable As long as the r180 can handle it with a lsd im happy I wont be thrashing it alot
  7. Even as its a turbo? The brakes on it are pretty bloody good but will look at hilux calipers If i wont need upgrades i will look into doing to as i dont have a big budget tho
  8. Okay deciding a l28 turbo But will that need 280zx front and rear brakes? And will the open wheel r180 handle say 250-300 hp at the engine?
  9. Iv got a 260z 2+2 auto will it be a straight swap Or will i need a new drive shaft and a brake up grade to compliance it in qld?

Also its getting me a manual conversion As well as a better motor and its in a 2+2 So i don't want to spend much and this seems like a good option Getting a turbo so it will look nice doesn't have to be fast I have a project v8 in a old falcon for that Just wanna no if i will have to upgrade anything for compliancing And will the r180 diff handle it?
  14. Iv got another project to work on cant afford much So if this wont been upgrades but engine conpliance I might go with it Also do the 5 speed manuals from them fot straight in no worries
  15. Hey my mate has a l20 turbo 280zx And he will sell me the entire car for 800 bucks I want to put the motor in my 260z L26 is on it last kms And wondering if i need to upgrade anything for compliance plates Its a standard l20 with after market bov and turbo timer Thanks steve

  17. Hey there guys Iv been looking but no luck On some other wheels that are 16-17x9 and 9.5 ish with the -10 to -20 offsets Just brand and style names or even pictures would be great thanks
  18. Not sure the Rd28 with a rb26 head the block was stronger The strokes and bores are a bit different in the 2 as well Ld Bore 84.5 Stroke 83 L Bore 86 Stroke 79
  19. Yea but deisels are built stronger cause it take high comp ratio So maiting with petrol head would alow more boost with the stronger block

  22. I was reading the other day about a guy who had done a rd30 block woth a turbo rb26 head and was running 32psi boost or something Has anyone ever thort of trying this with a L series engine?
  23. Hey guys i have a bm mega shifter or the bm pro ratchet in my room I havnt desided which one ill put on the 260 or the xc gs How hard are they to adapt to run on a 260z If anyone knows or has done it and could let me know would be great thanks
