Anyone got any suggestions how I can bet a bonnet from Melb to Tas (Other than full courier costs). Need to pick up on 29th/7 or before but freight costs are high Will be picking up 280zx on 29th but bonnet will not fit. Anyone got any ideas whether I could put the bonnet on the roof (Foor bars ??) Any thoughts or offers gladly accepted. Matto

Know its a long shot - but I need a 280zx bonnet transported from Melbourne to Hobart (or at least TAS). I will be collecting 280zx later in month from Melbourne with many spares but not enough room for the extra bonnet. If no-one able to help than can anyone suggest cheapest way to freaight - doesnt need to arrive quickly as it's a long way done the list for reno. just need to get it here !!. I have a 280zx that I am parting out - manual - still has pedal but I have not looked at them. How much you willing to pay and when you need them by - I will be in Melbourne end of month and may be able to bring them. No MC i think though. Could post picks but not till next week.

Thats the one (Bronze) - very neat - might be a few years before my project even gets close. Might have to find an excuse to go to Dover - does Mick ever want to buy stuff - I bought a 80' 280zx no motor, GB or Diff) that I am going to use for replacement panels - I have lots of tan interior bits and pieces, dash and center consul and seats (Although I may need the seats) that I probably will never use (Project car is the red interior and other is blue) . Is he up for swapping parts

2 x 280zx (I know I can not afford 240, 260, 280Z) in yard - another on way from Melbourne. Hoping to build 2 from waht I can collect. I know of another in shed in central Tas but always looking for more parts. Mick at Dover BP has some 280zx's I think but don't know what condition or whats he's gonna do with them. Mint 280zx at Shannons Hobart at the moment in window - don't know who owns it ?? But neat. MAtto

Hi Where are you in Canberra - I have a relative who might be able to collect for me - Is there any rust on the bottom where panel joins to the cars frame ?? What year is the panel from please!! Hi I would need both front fenders and possibly inner left wheel arch (Under Battery tray - rusted away ) and rear left tail light surround?? Freight might be a problem from Wa though. Also interested in Targa Glass Tops if good !! Thanks

Thanks - can I assume that they are just held on by glue (adhesive) ?? the front and rear screens - are they embedded into the rubbers ?? Ta

280zx being rebuilt - car I bought for spares has all bright silver trim in perfect cond. How do I remove without damaging?? is there a guide / trick for getting all this off?? Any advice greatly appreciated Thanks

Might be good for a bonnet now - But how much do you want? What I rally need is good guards - are both of yours rust free ?? If so they might freight to Hbt (Snail pace) without too much $$ THanks

Thanks - my strategy is to buy one good rust free if I can (Still looking) and I have sourced 2 for parts - 1 in the shed ($600 the lot 140K on motor) and one that I'm negotiating on -. Do you think that the 280zx will follow the lead of the 240s and 260!.s. Do you have any advice on sourcing parts wither locally or internationally?? Thanks again!

What bits you got left

What you got left of this - I'm looking for a bonnet and whole front left inner mudguard assembly including battery holder - mines completely rusted out. Also would need rear right quarter (D side) with fuel filler ?? Matt
