  1. That's what my mum says
  2. I look retarded lolz
  3. I have learnt heaps from listening to you It's hard to find out much about a cars history without someone telling you. So for that, thank you. IMO, doudous, it was pretty silly asking about these cars... Your meant to be an importer which means you should know about the car, if not, you shouldn't import it because when it gets here, you could theoretically sell it for $48 000 to someone who doesn't know and they would be stuck with an almost worthless (COmpared to the legit thing) replica... Theoretically ofcourse...
  4. Would you be able to pick them up and give them to Steve when he leaves syd? He comes past where I live so
  5. It is the straps that hold the spare wheel down... Atleast, that's where the mine are
  6. Awesome I don't really care when it gets picked up I will let the guy know and see if he's okay with that, I really appreciate it bahahaha about petrol Would hate to be waced with a charge like that

  8. I was wondering if anyone able to go and get something from Greenfield http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Greenfield+Park,+Sydney&sll=-33.883527,150.996094&sspn=0.24711,0.476875&ie=UTF8&ll=-33.921141,151.197968&spn=0.494003,0.953751&z=11 What would be great is if someone could pick it up and give it to steve when he comes back to Qld but i doubt that could happen. It's 2 speakers in a box. Will be willing to pay petrol costs associated
  9. So Fast!! Like a ninja

  15. +1 for me.
  16. I bought a BlueWire Power Window kit, here's a video of it running on my car, it's not bolted on properly that's why there is lots of movement but it's all hooked up now and it's great! I just have to oil all the window running gear as it's having a hard time pulling the windows up right now when it's cold (It's around 4c right now ) Woops :S haha
  17. Steve's got some better photos inside the resteraunt and i think zedevan got some good shots of the cars Can you send me some Zedevan or do i have to pay for them? (Internal joke) haha
  18. hahaha George Well, was a good meet, that pizza was good Thanks for giving me a room aswell Mike I gotta admit, I think I had an accident when we went through the tunnels and gave it a bit Anyways, I'm home now and had no troubles at all, all up a bit over 1000 km's so was happy with that. The trip home was great but as I was coming up the driveway a huge kangaroo jumped infront of my and i JUST missed it What a way to end a drive! Once again, thanks for the meet guys, we should do Eastern Creek soon ;D ;D
  19. Hey Nuclear_Z, I bought mine from victoria and the original quote from transport companies was around 1.5k, i then negotiated door to door delivery, 4 days to 859$. This came full insurance and everything, it may mean you can't transport it for a while as they will put you on a truck that isn't fully loaded I used Ceva, give them a call.
  20. In terms of oil, my car uses penrite HPR 40 Also, the alarm may be good, but I couldn't honestly say that I would consider using it myself I still think that your alarm is something you really shouldn't skimp on. If something happens to the car then you have to pay more insurance anyways so it's one of the only thing's that will save you lots of money and headaches down the track tbh. The cheaper ones are also prone to having there alarms triggered when a loud car drives past You may want to look at http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,3245.msg26267.html#msg26267 for your lights. In terms of keeping the cost low, i know what you mean I have been trying but i know realize that it's just not possible to own a zed and at the same time, be cheap Everything (And i mean EVERYTHING) is expensive But the car makes it up to you i must admit
  21. Hrm, that's cool, did you have any sub's anywhere? I was planning on 2 small 10" subs just for when i play a song with a bit of bass so it doesn't distort
  22. I don't care for the trim much as it will be getting redone eventually... Right now, I'm thinking of making 2 small housings for subs at the rear of the car under the hatch (There are 2 small inset areas). Mounting the amps to the back of the passenger seats but then when i need to sleep in the car (don't ask ) i wouldn't be able to as they would be in the way. Then 2 small 5" speakers in the doors with the tweeters under the demister cover. Then having larger 6" speakers in the normal position. Then i was thinking of hiding stuff under seats? I don't wanna show what speaker components i have as i don't wanna be broken into and it's not like i need to adjust anything once it's setup....
  23. Hi everyone, I have got some sound stuff for my car now but can only see speaker holes next to the rear passenger seats? Are there more? What does everyone think of mounting in the doors? Amp location? Sub location? Any help would be appreciated. I don't want a huge sound system, just listen to my music without my headphones and mp3 player Discuss!
  24. Hi leonZ, It will work but you really get what you pay for... There isn't much point in fitting a 20$ alarm to your zed as it's propably pretty easy to stop by giving it a good hard knock on the unit. I would honestly not install it and look at getting a Black Widow Central Locking kit and then a Mongoose alarm system. The main thing to make sure with your alarm is to not put it under the dash... It's sooo obvious! I plan on mounting my alarm unit under the passenger seat and then you can run cables under the main carpet (With the speaker cables) and around your car without any visible wires to cut or a unit to destroy... Another thing i have found with cheap alarms is some insurers wont count a s***alarm as an "alarm" as they are too easy to stop. Here is a Mongoose item on ebay that's worth looking at. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mongoose-Upgrade-Alarm-System-Ford-Holden-Toyota-Nissan_W0QQitemZ170350409918QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item27a9acf8be&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 It is quite expensive at 220$ but in the long run... If someone breaks into the car, your current unit wont really deter someone who knows what they are doing, the Mongoose system cuts all power to the car, turns off the fuel pump and more. Just my 2c
