  1. I'm after a cheapish set of standard 260z wheels in SE QLD. PM me. Cheers
  2. You guys are a gold mine Now, who wants to give me one of these ?
  3. Thanks.
  4. I'm after an inner shift boot to stop all the fumed getting in the car. I currently dont have one as it was converted from an auto. This link http://www.datsunstore.com/product_info.php/products_id/42 says I need a 'retainer ring'...what the hell is that and do I already have one ? Cheers
  5. I didn't realise we had those heads here in Oz.
  6. You want an internally oiled one, and whichever grind takes your fancy as long as it isn't too wild for the springs.
  7. I might be after after a cheap motor to rebuild. How much do you want for it? Cheers
  8. Like Ben alluded to, the 05L head does not have round exhaust ports, but square.
  9. I'd be ineterested except my car is STILL at the panel beaters...
  10. I'm pretty sure I've been in that 200ZR. Nice cars and plenty quick enough with an RB26. Obviously you have to be able to embrace the 80's interior. I would consider getting an RB26 powered one if I was in the market for a fast car.
  11. Nah mate, 260z. I just run a 280zx motor. A couple of my mates ran the conversion and the difference was night and day.
  12. After those plates that sit on top of the sill. If anyone has them spare ? Cheers

I think the black dragon bushing kit is about the same price...
  14. I was wondering how long it would take for you to respond Greg That sounds really good. Now all I need is to get my car back from the panel beaters...
  15. I'm just curious as to how often motorkhana's happen in and around se qld? Do you need a cams license? It seems that they would be great fun, without needing a hugley modified car. Is there a lot of cost involved? Ray
  16. That certainly has helped muchly. I'm not building a race car, so I don't need a huge brake setup. But it would be nice to be able to fit the regular hilux/300zx setup under there if I wanted to in the future. Cheers
  17. Hi guys, I was reading a thread on hybridz about someone saying that 15x8 Rota RB's were quite a close fit without spacers. I was wondering if anyone has experience with these wheels and would know whether a brake upgrade (say, hilux calipers) would fit in these wheels? I understand that the 16x8's would be a better fit, but I prefer the look of the 15" wheels. Cheers Ray
  18. I lived in Japan for a year and a half. I hung out with some Zed guys and went to a couple of car (and zed) festivals. Tokyo motor show is good. Not sure when it is on. I went to a big car parts expo, where you walk around a convention centre and can pick up second hand watanabes, carbies and all sorts. The Z car fiesta was cool. I think it's yearly. Check when it's on. We went to the nissan test track and got to go around the nissan test track. Aboslutely awesome. Ray
  19. My car was in a smash today I'm insured with Shannons, and they reccomended Graham Smash repair or Chipstone accident repairs. Both northside brisbane. Does anyone have any experience with these guys? Cheers Ray
  20. I know of people who ran them with solids....they were careful never to let the pads get too worn... Just saying is all...
  21. Any more pics of that intake manifold ?
  22. Yeah check the front strap. I've seen people get an old seat belt and tie that sucker down to stop it making a sound
  23. I've got FTO seats in my 260. Required some welding and bolting some tubular steel to the bottom of the seats, but it worked out OK. They aren't positioned completely right though, so maybe oneday in the future I may take em out and do some grinding and welding to adjust the position of them a bit.
  24. No, I wish they were mine!
