  3. Yes it is an allzparts air dam. I actually fitted mine on the inside. I recall it seemed to fit more snug that way. The indicators in this pic are not actually screwed in properly so they are not flush against the dam.

  5. rust pics basically i have grinded the rust away and painted over with pors-15, then sprayed a protective coat over that. its just temporary and obviously needs to be fixed properly soon.

  8. Thanks for the comments guys... I forgot to mention the bonnet has a big dent on it. Ive seen your celica loui, its a sweet ride but I'm looking for something easy to drive and economical (to and from work basically) and my girlfriend wants to drive it, thus the auto. a little jazz, civic, pulsar, yaris, 98 accords are ok, etc etc is what I'm looking for
  9. I am selling my 240Z because i can't spare anymore funds on the car. Basically im getting older and want to buy a house and that won't happen if the Z is there winking at me to fix her up. Model: 1973 240Z Location: Sydney Item Condition: fair to good Body: some rust on the battery tray and a few minor rust bubbles appearing on the hatch, petrol cap and right hand side lower door. Registration: rego till feb 27 2010 Engineers Certificate: No Extra Info: L28 - good running condition SU Round top carbs hitech extractors hitech exhaust slightly bored out interior is 90 percent complete new seat covers new carpets aftermarket steering wheel and gear knob the body is ok, some wear on the paint and starting to age a little. My plans were to give it a full respray to give the car a face lift and avoid futher rust build up.   10. Hi all, My blinkers work fine when I use them without my headlights on. When i turn my headlights on both the rears blinkers turn on, so do the brake lights and well all the lights are flashing, like its a disco back there (fronts are working as normal. What sort of troubleshooting do you guys suggest to weed out the problem ? Thanks in advance

  15. Hey all, Excuse me if this is a dumb question, but i was wondering if i can still start my car with the dash out. All the car internals are stripped, not including the steering column section. Is there any vital components that are needed to start the car or will it fire up without any problems? Thanks for the help

  17. pics this is a piece im working on. it was shagged covered in rust, its been zapped since yesterday afternoon the rusty looking exhaust pipe (sacrificed positive metal peice) is what came off overnight. i think one more day and it will be free of rust

  22. I have a supercharger installed on my 240 with an L28.. although i have never used it as it came with the car. My supercharger is installed in the oil filter side of the car and the alternator is relocated to the other side. (i think? i dont have much knowledge about L series engines as yet.) My air filter is next to the supercharger and it feeds air through a single pipe into the supercharger (or bypasses using a valve) then it splits into 2 pipes that go directly into my twin SU's round tops. (pipes run over the engine) I can get picks if ya like? I actually want to hook the belt up and try it out, but have no clue on how superchargers work
  23. thanks for the info i just bought one from road tested spares and they charged 150 for a reconditioned one. I feel a little ripped off!!! I never even thought to go new after i saw a post saying repco did them for $400
