  1. Yeah, no worries.
  2. I tried again, but its very hard to read, let alone trying to convince some officious public servant!! Send me an address and I'll post you a photocopy, If you want to make a real impact with officaldome, ring CAMS and get the complete Homologation papers...they look very impressive!! If your worried, why dont you just get them signed off by an engineer? the cop's can't argue with that!
  3. Thanks, They are listed as 5.5 inches in the homologation papers, now I've read them properly!
  4. Could be??? This is the same car competing in Rally Tas '07
  5. I've scanned the Page from the 240Z homogation papers for you Zedevan, as it lists the wheel size options, you are right theyn are 7.0inch, 8.0inch and 10 inch, but it came out crap!!! and not worth posting! I could post a photocopy if you want. So nato, what does NOT 4.5" mean??, no they are not 4.5inches std?
  6. G'day Guys, I understand the 240Z came out in Oz with 4.5 by 14 inch rims, as stated in the Homogation papers, Is it true that in the US they were fitted with 5.5 by 14 inch rims standard and does anybody know what the G-noned Zed came out with in regard to rim width and size?? Also were the 260Z(Aust) and 280Z(US) fitted with 4.5 inch rims or larger? Thanks
  7. Sorry Hunter, As a fully paid up member of the anti-Wankle league, I would not dare pollute this fine forum with a dirty, noisey smelly Rotary....LOL...sorry Mick. We had the 'Tarmac Challange' up here last weekend, with a pair of brothers in a Silver 240Z running from Vic, It was running in C2 specs, with a L24 etc, sounded ace!!!

Howdy, Brabham, try Nissan part no.38100-N3405 which is a 3.154 ring and pinion set listed for an R200 in the Datsun Competition parts list. I very much doubt they would be avalible new, but try US sites, as they were sold there new. Dont waste your time with Nissan Aust, the US is the answer, if you want one. Also try www.locost7.info/gearcalc.php and dial in your numbers, It will tell how many RPM you will need to do what speed in what gear, It will be up to you to get the power to pull the numbers!!! If you can get hold of a DVD called 'Big white Dyno', done at Lake Gardiner in '04 it will show you how hard it will be.... If you look at the DLRA results not mant cars do 200MPH (320kmh) goooood luck.
  9. Oh well Mick, as long as you still have the Zed, ha, ha. I've got a few photo's of the RX-4, both on and off the gravel, PM me your email and I'll send them on, I won't dare put them up on this fine website!!!! Also there's a young bloke here with a very tidy dark metallic blue 240(260) with silver 'Cobra' stripes here on the coast, I dont know any more other than it sounds good. I wonder how Scando is going today?? He will have HQ fever after this weekend!!
  10. Howdy guy's, I was digging though some photo's and found one of the mighty Mick in action at a clubday.....a little while ago!!! I'm very glad you kept the Zed Mick and sold those silly wankels. I'm looking foward to seeing it in action with the LS-1, they are a magic motor!
  11. Me again, I've just done some reasearch....looks likes it's modded!! It is almost exactly the same ratio's Hollinger used to do for 240K boxes.... Thanks
  12. Nzeder, Is this a factory 280x box?? or is it modded? they usually have a taller first? If std do you know the year and model it came out of, or who did the gear set if modified??
  13. Nice footage Scando, It's looks like it's on fast foward compared to my car!!!! Gee's those Targa A car's are quick!! Three Kw.....three more than mine!
  14. G'day mate, nice car you have there, I'm interested in how much rwKW does your Zed put out?? I love the colour, is it the same shade as Shrek??
