Also now need a Wiper setup As in from Screwbit just popping out of cowl Panel To the wiper arm that the blade goes into, As i ended up just buying some mock up carbon fiber ( lol) ones With blades from supercheap but one of the connections was cracked and would fail rwc, So needs to be replaced ^^

Haha, Nah not at all mate Australian, (the scottish kind) Yeah i get pretty shitty about people saying its a bomb, But My mum + Sister love its Sports car feel, And i'm Lucky enough to Live accross the road from a real Datto Fella, So its cool going back and fourth seeing the Common things between Different Dattos And on another note im also lucky enough to work only 5k's from ash's place so if i ever need a real kick start i can make a trip and see some Webers in action! (Only seen Stevo's on youtube but it was enough for me to "Know" im going to buy them ^^) And also many people at work seem real interested in it remembering days where there teacher's/Cousins or uncles owned them, All in all its a good positive feel about the car, Just sometimes It gets to ya abit, But eh That's life i suppose - Michael

Yeah Hopefully won't.......... zzz... bad news, I got shitty the other night When igot yet another "Sell it, buy a working car" such such comment And pushed the car forward a little more Then noticed it was abit hard to push.... It was in 4th gear DOH! so now i reckon it will all need timing re-adjusted zzz but on the plus side, One inner fender Striped and repainted in a Sound deadening paint And im exstatic with the outcome xD - I plan on finishing the other one tomorrow Aswell as fixig the head unit (Connect speaker directly to headunit, Play song Nothing comes out? oO Something to do with audio rca cable ?) Yeah i reckon, Well actually at my new job i have become good mates With the spray painter there, And it also looks like ill be starting a spray painting apprenticeship Thee at some point in the near future ^^! This weekend i didn't get as much done as i wanted to, but i did pick up a lot of supply's i needed to keep going ^^ including a 2 and a 1/2 inch Fuel pressure gauge that will replace the Clock in the dash once i get the Triple weber's ^^ Cost? 120 down to 80 Down to 40 Tehn in the pile of $20 Guages on special? >=D!! (All others were water temp) (Still need a fuel gauge isolator to install in the "Cockpit") But yeah here are some updated pics with front spoiler installed (Need 2 more screws for the sides) Got a heap more sanding/bogging/perfecting done, Such such, And installed a pioneer Ipod ready head unit that looks the part, And replaced a heap of rubbish interior screws with black Matching ones all round Just to add to the complete look of it, (will get some interior pics as soon as i finish Wiring the amp up zzz)

As Said, Need a Front bumper with/without overiders, Chrome condition doesn't matter and need one in Great to ok (fixable) shape, Would need postage to Melb vic 3048 Thanks guys Michael

When im going back to bare metal, Sand it using 240/320 then use a Good cleaner, Followed by a rust preventative i think it is, (Products name ive forgotten oO) Then cleaning again after rust stuff. Then bogging it Followed by etch primer. Spray putty ( if needed ) Then a surface primer, Followed by a base coat of black that will be going all around, then will be spraying the outside In this sort of color ^^ Pic of a Color sample a Good mate from work Did up for me + A Gear knob that i have sanded back to Real wood Then repainted And Cleared * Note the 2nd pic of the paint sample, Looks much much darker in life, Camera flash? oO

Im not sure actually from memory when i first started using comps its what people were doing orta got stuck on me xP eh ^^

Thanks guys ^^, Its good to know some That other people are finding its Moving along alright wereas most people dont understand ( Not running? Not a car") such such, but yeah ony thing im having trouble with atm is the metalwork as is welding in new patchs so i can finish prep/paint then chuck the engine back in, =D - Checked bushings/Drums/Caplipers and disks, All look brand new! ^^ Only Extreamly minor rust on the outside edge of the dish And all the Bushings are red and still seem to have that greasy coating on them, the drums in the back Had a reciept when i got the car saying they were cracked, But have since been replaced the just asnt a reciept for when they replaced them ^^

Ah, Well sulio, Im Definently looking at some Rb-r's, I have about 2 weeks before i can afford to snag a set, Only issue i have is Thinking about a color and What thickness/ Specifications i should get ( not sure about offset/such such other then pcd =P) Im thinking either staggered 9" Front 9.5" Rear 17 inch "Big" In either Gunmetal grey or Hyper black, Since im spending $1000+ on wheels I sorta want to show em off a little (Never been a real fan of commodores with production aftermarket wheels such such But yes! Definently the Rb-rs ^^ (banana Shaped ones) And Rev, Very interested in your 2+2 at the moment as im using it as kind of a guide on a few things / Flares looks/ Carbs such such, And also very interested as if you were still interested in doing some cutting/welding Still? As I really dont have the courage to cut my own car up =P Anyway, Must find out more about this service ^^ a the few rusty bits are all thats holding me back from painting the car xP Anyway Off to bed Gotta leave at 4 for work zzz Night!

Jinxed! xP Nah work has still been going on but have had both troubles with phone Camera and Computer itself not Noticing the phone is there? oO Anyway, News to date, Pulled out the radiator/ Engine bay stuff ready to be preped/painted asap, (need a couple of rust issue addressed first) Fully preped front guard/nosecone ready to throw some paint on to see how the "WRX Blue" Will look =] Started to reco the 30 odd year old aftermarket Speco knob (Genuine wood =D) grabbed a set of flares of ash, And done some undercarrage work Getting off al the old Sound deadening thats peeling off everywhere ^^ heres a heap of updated pics *Note how an hour has changed the front end Is near perfectly inline with nothing bolted in Basicly just thrown o no adjusting done yet or nothing, Mates a Genius ^^

agreed. Although the pair i have at the moment are Mock Ones it seems aswell So a mock pair will do fine for the "basic Look" Of genuine's ^^

Yep, Ive seen a couple of pairs overtime that Have the right stud pattern but since they were only other pairs i diddnt think much of them, But now i have a pair already (matching) Finding another with with more/less Dish doesnt matter much because the more dish end will end up on the back (of course ) But yeah, Ebay/trading post - keep watch, Thanks mate Michael
