As far as compressors go we mainly deal in Puma and McMillan but can get almost anything, Spray guns once again we can get almost anything but mainly deal in the Star and Binks lines of spray guns. Regards Aaron

  3. ok guys thisis basically a message for all of you who are in the north, north east and north west, or anyone else who doesnt mind the travel. I am currently working in an engineering and industrial supplies company. I am more than happy to help anyone out with bits and pieces that they need and in the process will try and give the best disscounts possible, so if you are lacking those nuts and bolts or those tools to finish that Zed off then feel free to drop me a line. Aaron
  4. hey guys just got a quick question, I am currently running 300zx twin turbo front brakes and Z31 rear brakes, My master cylinder has a score in the bore on the front section.... obviously affecting braking power, seeing as I have the upgraded brakes I was wondering how hard it would be to fit the Z32 master cylinder to my S30 rather than rebuilding/sourcing another one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do any of you already have this done? maybe i could steal a looksie?
  5. Ok guys..... The decision has been made my 260z is going to become a road car again. I just have one problem! Parts sorcing...... Z worx do have the things I want and at reasonable prices..... My problem is being stuck at work monday to friday in coburg coupled with them not being open saturdays. I normally wouldn't ask nor do I like to, but is it at all possible that anyone can help me with obtaining parts through them? I am more than happy to pay for everything before it is picked up etc, I think it could just become hard for me to get parts is all. Any help at all would be greatly appreaciated. Aaron
  6. bugger the LSD diff CIG locker much much more fun
  7. Thanks Sulio! I did some good hard thinking about it over night and I think I might put it back on the road. If i do I dont think it will see the track, will just wait a few years and buy a dedicated race car, have had some problems with road/race car combo's before there is too much compromise needed. Plus I just want to drive it again I think. When the time comes I know I wont have any issues with helping out with organising, running, or even idea's for future directions or even just giving my opinion where ever possible.

but thats just it, i know where i can get a rebuilt and worked 350 for around 7 or 8K.
  9. My girlfriend has put this crazy idea into my head and I would like everyone's opinion on it. At this stage it really only needs interior, body work tidyup and some good old tlc, versus a new engine, body work, roll cage etc for proper racing, I guess my real question is....... is there enough S30 Z car club related happening to warrant putting it back on the road?

  13. Just a quick question, I was wondering the ending bay work lights siuated on the left hand strut tower near the battery, were they a standard item? or an option? as not all Zeds I have seen seem to have them?

    Motor Choices

Ok here is my dilema, as you all know the Z is a wonderfull car to transplant engines into, with countless numbers of options. I am after peoples opinions on what there preferance would be out of the motors I am considering.
  15. Vlad dont stress dude, you shouldnt have any issues at all, I know i haven't in either of my 260's or a friends 240, they came out and checked the engine number then let it go.
  16. As a mechanic I feel its only my suty to put my opinion in on this subject! with all my 260's I have always run them on BP ultimate 98 octane, with a slightly advanced timming and have never had any problems at all. we run our race cars on it, street cars the lot. Please please dopnt orture the car with an ethanol fuel, in the long run it will only cause you more problems than it is worth.
  17. Originally I would have liked my Zed to look something like jack kuziors 240ZG but over time I have realised there is nothing like a Zed of your own, something that has that little personall touch or difference to it.

  20. I should be there! unfortuneatley my car wont be, but I should be camera in hand.
  21. suspension for sure guys! as a standard car a 240/260z has the power to weight to be competible with any other widely sold car up to the early 90's, they have the brakes to match for a standard car. So suspension it was when it came to the first mod for my car, I went with koni fully adjustables with ex nissan gtr works car springs, hehe due to the re working of the srut casings etc i also took the time to ass z32 twin turbo front brakes and a z31 disc brak rear end. All thatnks to Lindsay at Zspares for the engineering work and a few beers on a saturday to fit it all. Even now with almost standard springs in it, it may sit a little high but handles very well has enough squat out of corners to put the power down but is also stiff enough to cut out alot of roll over.
  22. thanks Lynton! I will give them a call. I am moving the car to my new house this weekend so work can commence on getting it back to the road
