The Z in the double garage, will spend most of its time in here on a roaster next to an RA28 then will be moved in the massive 6m high "spray booth" next door. Notice the dissapointed slouched body language of my fiance' -

Interior forward -
Need some 240z pieces: - C pillar badges - All interior panels from the door back (bar the bit under the hatch) - Fender mirrors - Rear view mirror - middle piece of the tail light surround - Interior light - ZG flares - Rear spoiler (The little lip that sits on the hatch) - Front spoiler/valance/air dam (like the pictures in this line: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t257/78ChevyinNH/74Datsun240ZG.jpg) I thought I might ask here for the flares and spoilers first before I go buy them from a store. Also want to swap my bonnet for a 260 bonnet with vents.

Cool sounds like a plan. This will be the first car that I will actually be bothering to get engineered, the others I just dropped in the engine/diff/other stuff and drove them. Bad I know! I already have the modification application form, filled in a great deal of it already. Not sure what the go is from there. I assume you send it to them or take it to the engineer? I dont thinking SI rego is the go for me, I will be driving it anyday I can once I get it up and running. This will probably mean 4-5 days a week. The name and number of the guy at vehicle standards could come in handy!

Got mine back to the state!! 1971 240z, lime yellow (i know its horrible and its coming off!) with matching numbers. Just got the roaster tacked up at work today, shouldn't be long before its mounted and ready for some tin worm removal.

Ok, got the wipers and part of the tail light surround. Anyone have any interior panels, c pillar badges, fender mirrors or the middle piece of the tail light surround that they would like to get rid of. Also after a haynes manual if anyone has one. Oh and im all looking for a 260 vented bonnet to buy or trade with my 240 bonnet.

Sorry to hijack but is this true about FG doors? I was going to look into them and possibly sell my doors which are pretty good bar a small dent in the PS one.

Cheers for the direction mick! I have used Al to do inspections before but had no idea he was an engineer! Good thing is he is only 5 minutes up the road
