  1. Ok I haven't heard back from either party regarding these flares. If someone wants them this is your last chance before they get placed on ebay. They are not perfect flares but with a little sanding they should turn out the goods. Price is $220 + Shipping. I am negotiable.

No the 432 and 432R had the S20 engine. A completely different engine to the L-series engine. The block and head were completely different and not interchangeable. The S20 was a straight 6 twin cam engine with 2.0 litre capacity. They were also fitted with Triple Weber carbs and the engine was rated at 160 PS. The same engine was also found in the early skylines including the KPGC10 and KPGC110, it was a very successful race engine. The L20 non turbo was found in the Fairlady Z S30 which was only sold in Japan. The Fairlady 240zg HS30-H had the L24. The later L20ET was used in the C210 skyline.
  3. Turn that frown upside down. Those chrome covers kick butt. I'll get a set someday. They look really good on that champagne 2+2. Everyone seems to dismiss the 2+2 but the wider track makes them handle slightly better. Many people have raced them successfully. Any S30 Zcar is cool in my opinion, I guess it's just that you see so many bog stock 2+2's which have been neglected.
  4. Yeah I can relate to that. I was a bit frustrated when I chipped some paint installing the new door handle even though I used a nice rag to help prevent the handle scratching the paint. I guess it's just older paint now and it gets kinda flakey around the edges especially in areas where it would have a thinner coat. This is one of the reasons I generally like to buy brand new stuff. Especially when it comes to plastics etc.. When they get old they just get frail. I was just curious if anyone else had a story to share?
  5. I was fixing the passenger door handle on my 240z recently and I managed to break two things while fixing it. How many times have you done this? For me its kind of a rule, perhaps with experience I'll think 2 steps ahead and prevent this kind of thing from happening. Anyone wanna make me feel better and share a story?
