HKSZ Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Looking for some 280zx or similar mags to fit my 205/14 race slicks, don't care which series. Can swap a set of 4 stud 15" 300zx mags or 200B sx mags, thanks Steve Quote
dat2kman Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 You need series 2 rims the five spoke ones, not the iron cross. They have better offset and are 6" width What rubber are you running in a 205 width? Ideal width is 195 Quote
Scoota G Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 What offset are you after? I have a set of rims 14X6 Chevoit. Quote
HKSZ Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 I thought I'd do some hillclimbs in the rally car this year. I ran these 205/60/14 Falkens on my 1600 race car. Problem is wtih RX7 brakes on the rear I usually run 15" The SX 14x6 rims fit but a bees dick clearance on caliper, the backspace is 11.2cm The backspace on a ZX rim is around 10.2 What offset are you after? I have a set of rims 14X6 Chevoit. I tried Chevoit 14x6 finn with 11.2 backspace but the inside shape fouls on caliper Quote
HKSZ Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Anyone got 280 mags I'd look at 260z 5 1/2inch mags as well Quote
Wayne G Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I have a set of the iron cross wheels that were mentioned. Are they what your are after? Freight from Brisbane would probably be prohibitive. Quote
HKSZ Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 Thanks Wayne, yeah postage might add up. Once these tyres wear out I'll go back to 15'' Quote
