hey guys and girls,

i was working on my 280zx today and noticed that it has cv shafts in the rear attaching to the diff and when i looked in my workshop manual it states it has uni jointed half shafts, so did the aus spec 280zx ever come out with cv half shafts mine is a 81 hardtop auto zx.

My 240z currently has the diff and shafts out of one of the 280zx that I wrecked. It was an auto 280 so maybe the autos didn't.get cv's

early autos had r180 with cvs later autos had uni-j's with an r200.

from MY experience scavenging parts from the Z wreckers, had both diffs, and had both types of half shafts.
