Langzed Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Hi guys and gals, Just thought I'd use the provided space to say hello and introduce myself. I'm not currently a zed car owner :'( but I'm looking to remedy that situation asap. I've had a bit of experience working on cars (read: getting intensely frustrated at my old Alfa which kept breaking down on me) and love getting hands on. Not sure what else to say. I live in Canberra, as you can see in my name-thingy. My car history includes an '88 Pulsar which I learned to drive in, an '89 Honda Integra (first gen), and an '82 Alfa GTV. Anything else you guys want to know: just ask! Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 6, 2012 Administrators Posted April 6, 2012 Welcome, so what kind of Z are you looking at getting? Z's are reliable, but they rust like anything. So buy 1 with minimal rust and you'll be good to go. Quote
chris240 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Welcome. Just avoid silver zeds....we have too many. I cant recall the last time I saw a 240/60 for sale locally.... Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 6, 2012 Moderators Posted April 6, 2012 Welcome... I'd guess with owning an Alfa, you are very well experienced dealing with rust. Good advice is to save the pennies and pounce on a good car with most work already done.. Quote
sco_aus Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 By law in the ACT, if your name is Scott, you must own a silver Zed, otherwise, please refrain from purchasing a silver Zed, we have plenty Welcome. Keep an eye out on the ACT section for our next event. Cheers Scott (Silver Zed owner) Quote
