dpellizzaro Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I have been trying to get some info on lowering springs for my 260 2+2 and have struggled when it comes to super low springs. I am unable to find 260's in king's super low spread sheet online. I am wondering if the 240z lowered springs will give me the same drop as "super lows" in my 260? If so (appart from the lowered height) will there be any complications with the ride height being lowered by approximately 60mm, perhaps shocks may need to be upgraded at the same time? Are these the correct codes for the lowered springs for a 240z? Fronts KDFL-17, Rears KDRL-09. Cheers David Quote

There's not much on a zed to begin with so with less, you'd be bottoming out on the smallest bumps. Best bet is to install adjustable platforms, section your strut/shock and then you can sit ultra low (depending on what else will be scraping the road) Quote
dat2kman Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I have a pair of 260 z kings rear lows for sale,$135 pick up, can post, you could easily dock a bit more off to lower further, the rate would increase a bit, but for sprited road use they would be good. The king catalogue shows the two types of Z, the springs i have are def 260 rears. Quote

How hard is the sectioning? i have access to a welder but i will need to buy new shocks and then the sleaves and springs. Any rough idea on prices? cheers david Quote
dpellizzaro Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 After having a further look into it i have been thinking about the ttt coilovers but the price of 1700 plus 300 shipping then possible gst has started me thinking of sectioning but i was wondering how much all the parts will add up to. do the hsd sleeves come in pairs?
