grimlynsan Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Hi All, I have a running 260z with a P30 block and E88 head. I have a set of 40dcoe triple webers and minifold etc ready to bolt on but the engine is screwed and needs a complete overhaul. So I'm looking to buy a complete 'already sorted setup', suitable for the triple webers, that I can just bolt in to my car and go. I'm currently looking at some pretty sweet looking crate motors from the USA but i dont want to wait for them to arrive and would prefer to spend my money in Australia. Can anyone help? Anyone got a beast of an engine they want to sell me? Anyone want to build me one? Thanks! Lee Quote

I messaged Mr PMC recently but he hasn't gotten back to me as yet... maybe stll on holidays. I'm really hoping that someone is looking to upgrade and wants to get rid of their old setup, or has some bits and pieces lying around and some know how and spare time and wants to help complete the world's longest 260z restoration! dat2kman Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Decent engine is gonna cost! Send pzg302 a pm on here, he jas a couple of L28's as long motors, they will be better than what you got. The triples will be pretty good on the L28, but may need a jet change or two to get it close to sweet. If you wanted to keep local try Smart Automotive in Stafford, he has built up a few, to keep costs lowish use the 133 mm rods, ( post a wanted to buy add) new forged dlat top pistons, take a bit of weight out of the flywheel. Best gains will be from spending money on a head Liddles Cylinder Heads in Spingfield can help you here, or, i have a race prepped high compression head tjat will bolt onto a N42 L 28 block, mated to triples, it will work nicely. ( head for sale at $150) Keep us posted on how you get on! Quote
