You would take a "G"? I assume that is $1000?  Then take the $1250 bid you have, close that auction early, and go away!  You only joined to sell you car and have no interest in sharing time or experience with like minded enthusiasts.  Pearce off!

agreed,

Reallious, you are trying to play with emotions through your wording, but truth is its a 280, and a damaged one at that, so very few people are going to feel the strain on their heart strings. If you were dead set on seeing it go, you would start the auction at $100, which is what you would be lucky to get from scrap metal (scrap metal is worth jack shit these days) and then be happy with whatever you got above that. So if its a dummy bid on your ebay ad, good luck

I am definitely not saying it's only worth $100, I know it's worth more than that, the auction is proving this, but I can not agree with his demeanour on the forum. Hell, if I was closer id throw a few hundred his way to take it off his hands and use some of the running gear. But 'threatening' people with crushing it is not the right idea

Car location is where???

in central Qld, im in brisbane, and have the time and trailer to come get it,,,, maybe!

If evilbay auction is a dud, ie the supposed "buyer"is a no show, pm me asap, i'll come take it off your hands.

In cold hard light of day, this one is a parter, rust is unkown, and will always be more than anyone can see, was it a coastal car?

it has no rego, it "might"get a rwc, history is unknown, its a heavy body with glass roof

Without inspecting it, maybe a couple hundred, if it inspects well, could go to 800.

Ill have it stripped in a day, shell goes to Sims scap metal, i just need a gearbox. A lot of mucking around on my part, but you at least get rid of it, and its remains get passed onto othets who can use them!

Ah bugger just seen it, Rocky, a twelve hour turnaround drive, bugger.

Id still be interested though, but the dollars are thin, fuel accom towing, sell it to that ebay bidder!!

Yo Jason,

if you bring it down I'll eventually throw in for parts!

Zac, not a problem!

Biggest hassle is going uo and bringing it back!

Ill take the missus for a bit of a holiday, i can see it now,,,"dear, why is the car trailer attached????"

Let me start by apologising for an unintentional offense to the Z car members by threatening to push the point of sale through destruction of my 280zx. My parents are nearing retirement and the spot in the garage the 280zx calls home is very shortly going to be the spot a caravan calls home. As i live in W.A & am only back till early january i would like to get rid of her before i leave. As some one so cleverly pointed out "why doesn't he lower the reserve on e-bay" well after reading the selling rules after 24 hours there are certain areas of your listing you lose access to and changing reserves is one of them. There's no shaddiness in this deal if your in the Rockhampton CQ or if your prepared to take a drive & own a trailor, make me an offer & i'll have a think about it as our family friends run ther wrecking business in town & gracemere and they said they'fd give 4 - 5 hundred for scrap but id rather see her sell.

Sad to see that people can't see the potential, if I was closer would get it off you as have completed my 280zx - 450zx project

Good luck hope the doubters are proven wrong and she finds a good home

Oooh,

Back on evilbay, again, first time around the top bodder at $1250 didnt come through???

Current bid is/was $500

Auction ended!

Hardest part of this is it's far  northern Qld  locatipn, Rockhampton!

dont send it to the crushets, at least my option will get it, or some parts of it, used and needed!
