Riceburner Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I have a new set of superpro (purple) urethane bushes I need to fit to my bar, I know how to remove the originals but, how do I fit these one piece units? I dont have a press, would a set of bearing pullers and a large socket be strong enough to push them through? Quote
benny Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 could you just slice them and push them over the bar like the prothane ones!! Quote
Riceburner Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 I was thinking of doing that Benny, but I figured they're in one piece for a reason. New I should of got prothane, but these were cheap at the time lol Quote

datozed Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 after burning out the original bush , i had to cut out the outer bush sleeve before fitting new bush. they will push in by hand will take some effort they are tight Quote
Riceburner Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 I got these in today with a little bit of work, they were the one piece purple superpro bushes. It's as Datozed says.... I tried pressing in the bushes without removing the outer shells, no chance. I then cut them out and was able to press them, still required a moderate amout of force. They are a really tight fit and should be a big improvement over the original bushes. Quote
