Hi all I've recently just brought a 1969 super six sedan, fitted with a L28, I'm looking for some go fast goodies like cam, head, elec dizzy.... Also a webber manifold and single 40mm  dellorto (as I already have 2 from L4 striker days) also looking into eventually building a 3.1L..... I know it's not a Z but I'm stoked I finally got something with an L6 and can't wait to make it roar... Pm or text me with your price Cheers Dean 0406 9 six 4 six 8 eight

I've got .555 Lift cam 310/300 duration and .300" lash caps to be ground down, 38mm exhaust valves and nismo sump gaskets if you are interested

I have a set of Performance Mackay rr valve springs for $100, had little use only.

Gee you combine all the above and you are onto something decent, as long as you go ahead and do it!

Dammit why don't I get email notifications on recent post replies? How much for 555 cam? And how much for valve springs, and what do those rods achieve? Cheers

the rods are what you use for a L28 stroker with the L28D crank, or in a standard L28 with custom pistons to give a better rod/stroke ratio to spin the motor a bit harder.

Or use these rods of pzg302, and my flat top pistons i pmed you about, they are 87.5 mm diam keep stock crank stroke, it will still be a sweet motor!

yes no probs...

Im a little dissapointed that the ports are smallish and dont appear to be as big as on a redline or lynx or canon.

Thats a factory Mikuni manifold. Made to bolt on to the E30 head.

Feel inside the head side of the manifold, there is a lip that is easily removed with a die grinder.

Made to modify  ;D

get your own bloody topic lol

ROFL  ;D ;D

Ah yes, a smaller reducing port diameter, over the length of the intake runner, and into the port into the head, culminating into the quite small physical cubic millimetre area around the valve head, will aid in much higher air velocity, thus causing far superior atomisation of the fuel in the air mixture.

The original designets did it like that for very good reason.

We all come along and open the things right up to billy-o and stuff up the required high velocity airflow into the cylinder.

Port matching should be done on both ends, a little step going in is fine, this helps swirl effect at wall surface on transition at each join.

This is all old school well known stuff all done by old guys many years ago!

That lip is there for anti-reversion.
