Hi guys, I have just received the new Gnose and I'd like to know the correct way to fit the headlight covers. They have the mounting hardware with them which consists of screws and backing plates. Do these plates go on the underside of the Fibreglass or on the top side?

Perhaps send a message (PM) to HS30-H (Alan) as he has a genuine ZG and will probably know for sure.

Gareth, if you want to mount them an easier way, I have the stainless nutserts and correct stainless screws that match the originals if you want...

I mounted mine with the original hardware.. first you need to mark the holes on the headlight bucket where the large screws go then screw those small rectangular plates with the countersunk self drillers but first drill a 6mm hole for the main screws to go through. I pre-drilled a small hole for the self tappers anyway.

Wait, I'll scan the instructions for you...they are for the "regular" covers but I think they are the same..

The stainless screws I found are far better than the originals that are just zinc plated; mine are starting to rust already! Will you be at the island this weekend? I can bring a set with me..

Hey Mick, found them on yahoo auctions Japan a while back. I often search there, looking under S30Z and 240ZG. There's heaps of goodies on there  8)
