Zed parts in store

Hi all

 

Slowly building up the zed stock in the shop. So far have:

 

555 ball joints (good quality japan made)

H4 headlight kits

Got the std  oil filter as wel, as low profile (thanks benny )

Have all the replacement fluids (oil etc)

Spark plugs

Front brake pads(as of monday)

 

Can get all the other service gear but just slowly building it up as i go. Can get most things next day so dont foget if you want to pop in pm me and i will make sure we have it

Hi Ash,

 

I'm looking for some new ball joints for my 71 Zed while I'm doing a hilux front, R31 rear and full Nolathane bushing kit.  I thought I would go the TONK while I have everything off.  What stock currently available and what would a total cost including postage be to Brisbane 4017.

Are you just after the ball joints? I have most the front and rear end parts availble as well as rotors pads etc PM me a list and I can price it all up for you

So far my list is:

ball joints

front vented rotors

rear solid rotors

hilux front 4runner pads

rear r31 pads

tie rod ends.. maybe, see how far I go

new brake lines

braided line sections

 

If you could throw some prices at me it will give me ball park figure.

Can you confirm what year your 240z is.

Also what front discs would you like as there are a few options (meusrements or model details of car they are off).

 

at this starge I can only get standard lines (not braided) I am looking for a good wholesaler for them at the moment

Hi Ash,

 

My Zed is a 1971.  Now the front calipers are from an 1988 4runner that are stamped S12.8 they are the ones for vented rotors but I have no idea what size and width rotor I need to do the least mods to so it fits.  Hopefully someone can help me out here.  The two brake lines that are the original rubber ones need to be replaced not sure on the length but I'm sure you would have a good idea.  If not I can measure it.

hi zr240. sorry to keep bothering you in every one of your threads lol. can you get vl rb30 na starter motors, apparently they are a good bolt-on upgrade for the L2* starter motor.

Hey Ash, are you back around from holidays, and have you recieved my pm? I can't clearly remember if i did send it or just dreamt it.

 

I'm needing a replacement for one of the window water jets, and would also love some new wiper blade arms along with the other parts. Maybe i should pm you a new list

Sorry I forgot to reply I could not find a special coil to suit the 280zx dizzy. Did you have any specs on it?

I was wondering whether you would be able to supply 280ZX diff mounts. It's for an 82 2+2 ZX. I've been looking round and haven't been able to find anything except one centre insulator mount from the US for $88 to my door. Could you PM me details on it?

Its getting very hard to get engine , gearbox and diff mounts in Aus.

 

Nissan are not very helpful these days either.

 

Will see what I can dig up.
