zzzzed Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 since i did my Manuel conversion when i put my foot down and lift off from the throttle the revs take a second or to to die down to idle. I have checked the return on the throttle linkage. and it is returning all the way but still revving?? has any one got any sugestions on what might be causing this? Quote

You don't usually need to change ecu when you do a manuel conversion On a z31 so I don't think it is that is it either. I have reset the ecu a few Times now also. It is rather annoying when trying to do smooth gear changes Quote
Cozza Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Do you think it could be something to do with cold start keeping the revs up? My 3.0l Navara holds the revs up when it runs cold. I notice it does this when I have been on the highway for a couple hundred k's. I figure my thermostat needs replacing. Could you have a dodgy temp sensor? Just a thought Mick Quote

My temp sensors wire fell of a whale ago and I soldered it back on but I don't think it is working correctly. I think I may need to replace it. I'll call Adelaide z cars in Monday and order one Quote
