Factory style bolts

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has found a cheap supply of factory style bolts. I am resurrecting a lightened (rusted out) 73 model 240z and every bolt on it is either rusted, rounded off or stripped. I have plenty of new metric bolts which always have the wrong style of head, wrong head size and usually the wrong colour and none have captive washers spring or flat.  I have always liked the look and idea of new factory bolts and once even bead blasted re-coated a set for a project many years ago. The only sets I have come across so far were on ebay and for a Toyota engine, still early days so I'll keep looking but any suggestions appreciated.

If you are very patient you can go to spare parts shops, bunnings or trade shops (Lee Bros in Nth Parramatta) that sell nuts and bolts and take what you have and see what you can match. I managed to get hold of most of what I needed. Wurth have a few options with captive washers. It took me months to track down all the nuts and bolts I needed to replace everything, also a very expensive.

 

There was a business in the US that used to sell stainless kits where every nut, bolt and washer were packed in labelled bags for the whole car, I wish I had used him in the beginning.

 

If you are willing to gamble try reddat on ebay.

For $400, MSA in the US sells a labled bolt kit that have EVERY SINGLE BOLT that you need for a Zed resto.

Those bolts with the captive washers on them are called "SEMS" assemblies.. Fuji Fasteners in Dandenong have stock but I dont think they sell to the public. It may be worth a try because I know they have some old stock of the M6 bolts with the washers in zinc yellow with the Philips head that they are trying to get rid of.
