BRIDE / RECARO SEAT RAILS FOR AN S30 TO SUIT RECARO SPECIALIST SEAT

I am looking to put a set of Recaro Specialist seats into my 240z (image below).

 

I have checked around and it seems that you can use bride seat rails (image attached) to suit some Recaro's, Bride also have the rails specific for S30 z's.

 

Does anybody know which bride rail will suit the Recaro Specialist seat ?

 

I have contacted Ideal Seat who are the Recaro distributors for Oz and they tell me there is no Recaro rails that bolt into a S30.

 

Any help would be good.

Hey John,

 

Mossy put me onto yahoo auctions that seem to have what I need. I have sent the supplier an email.

 

Will order the pair now and let you know what happens.

 

Might do a build thread to show how it works out.

Aaron lets us know how you get on with the supplier from the yahoo auction (if it is the same supplier I am thinking of) as I have looked at their product and I am thinking of getting some for my Project

I have ordered the rails for a 240z and will let you know if they work. Not sure if the image represents what I will be receiving, the main difference over standard appears to be the need for a bolt, washers and nuts.

thought i would add a few photo's of what the rails look like, quality seems to be very good.

 

not sure about the blue anodized slider knob, think i might make something that looks more original.

 

checked they would fit in another 240, perfect fit.

I ordered some Bride FO rails for my seats tonight - here in NZ for aftermarket rails to be legal they need a double latching setup which the brides do have so this is why I dropped the extra for these.
