fufu Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Hi guys, I'm in need of a radiator fan piece. Plastic piece with all the fins. As my current one in the 240z has a bent fin, it does spin, but gets jarred up against the radiator when it reaches the bent fin. If you're willing to let one go, please reply. I'll reply back shortly. regards, Fu Quote
zeds4ever Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Hey Fu which fan blade are you after. Have two of them one is shallow dished which retracts fan back from radiator .While the other one is deep dished which projects blades closer to radiator, the blades on this unit have been rounded off on one side. Both are in good shape. Also have a couple of good fan clutch units if your interested. PM me. Regards : Alan. Quote

Alan Mine was out of my 260Z but was running on a L20ET, I doubt there is any difference in application apart from the possibility of a fan shroud that was a welded item on some radiators interfering with it. fufu Posted March 26, 2011 Author Posted March 26, 2011 Just to close this chapter. I ended up purchasing John's fan. I needed it fairly urgent. But now I've hit a bit of snag and require a radiator. It seems the radiator is leaking which causes hot water to hit the fins on the fan which resulted in the fin warping. Warping of the fin ended up jarring the fin into the radiator. Quote
