Well said Scoot!  Sulio this is one of those times when many of the questions will never get answered and some things will always remain a question. The thing for us to do now is to allow our times with Kyle to remain those great memories that you so well reflected on.  We need to be prepared to live life and look out for one another as this world is only to happy to consume people as it does everything else.

I've suggested to a few of the guys that we organise a meet early in the new year in celebration of the memories we've all had with Kyle and to have a beer and memorial tribute to him, let me know if that is something everyone would like to do and I can try and organise a date.

Yeah I thought the same Rev it could either be a drive up to somewhere like Sugar Load Dam near Yarra Glen for a BBQ or at a Pub locally, maybe the Village Green if this is central to the majority.

Yes I too have fond memories of Kyle, Sulio. I think I drove him home from Apollo Bay that very weekend. And had had him in my car on many other occassions including Tassie. Yes he was passionate about his Zeds. But didn't talk too much about his private life and I didn't want to pry.

Let's get together and celebrate a fine person who never spoke a bad word of anybody. Cheers  :(

Another great memory down at Tassie. Kyle far left.  :D  Happier times.

I'm a bit new to the Z forum and have only met a few members face to face.

I understand how you guys feel and it is sad news.

A mate of mine took his own life in Feb'09. We had known each other since I was about 5 or 6 years old and it was a big shock.

When I was 19 years old a boss once told me something I'll never forget and I hope you can all think about it as well...."Never be scared to ask for help"...

I agree with Scoota. We are, because, we are.

RIP Kyle.

ps. If someone close to the family could let the rest of us know if any assistance can be given, would appreciate that thanks.

Very sad news.

I just logged on for the first time in months to see how the BBQ went and am very saddened by the news.

Kyle was one of the few that i had met on a number of occasions including my very first meet/drive and welcomed me to the group.

My condolences to his family and friends.

So sad to hear about Kyle. I've met him a couple of times and chatted about cars. He seemed like a really good bloke, and it's sad that he got to this point. Condolences to his friends and family.

Does anyone know what is happening with his car. The had been some chat about having a club project - I for one would be happy to donate time, money and parts to finish his car and then auction it off and give the money to BeyondBlue or a similar group. Just a thought, and those that knew him well have probably already thought of this.

Just seems like it would be nice to get something positive out of such a tragedy.

FWIW I'm (begrudgingly) taking over Kyle's Zed & I shall finish it off as he intended. It will not be sold off for any reason.

So no more talk of what should happen to his Zed, please.
