wtb- 280zx fuel injectors (other options?)

hi all, just got told i need 6new fuel injectors for my 280, got quoted $1030 installed~$120 per injector. are there any alternatives i could buy or is there anywhere in the brisbane area that can do it abit cheeper?

I bought 6 new Bosch injectors from EFI Hardware in Mitcham Vic for $99 each a little while ago.. might be good to check price again.

Az new injectors supply new or remanufactured injectors.

 

For the Z the model is AZ135N-6, they are supplied as new injectors, and from memory I bought a set for around $420 from repco, they were on special at the time.

 

They also do performance type injectors as well, maybe worth checking out their website to see if they can do what you need.

Was $330 landed

Is that what I need? If I did go the turbo injectors would I have to chance the ecu or anything? I've got no savings left so I need the cheapest option possible..

You can run rb30 injector out of a r31 skyline or vl commodore.

why do you need new injectors? will second hand ones do? You can get your old injectors serviced  for a fraction of that cost + I have a bout a million used standard injectors at home if that might help you out?

 

Also, never return to that mechanic for anything but dodgey pink slips (if they do them). Changing the injectors is a 30 minute job and the labour cost should reflect that.
